Job Title: Computed Tomography/Radiologic Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT)/Radiologic Technologist Duration: Full-time Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years preferred License: Current NH License in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography and CT (Required), Current BCLS Certification (Required) Must-Have: - Currently Registered with ARRT in Radiography and CT - Compliance with continuing education credit requirements - 2 years of experience preferred, willing to train for the right candidate Description: The primary responsibility of the Medical Imager/X-ray/CT is to prep and screen patients appropriately for imaging procedures. Produce diagnostic images of parts of the human body for diagnosing medical problems. Explain and perform radiologic procedures with consideration of the patient's level of understanding and age appropriateness. Assess patient pain by interfering with imaging procedures and make appropriate physician contact for intervention. Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
